Hello and welcome. I'm the founder of Come To Revive based in the beautiful Fownhope countryside in Hereford.
If you’re reading this, you undoubtedly have a desire to maintain or improve your health and well-being. Whether you’ve been referred by a colleague or discovered me via another source, you’re in the right place.
I am passionate about all things health - women and men's which is why I specialise in the following areas of Reflexology:
MAR, MSc, BA (Hons), CIPD
My journey into Reflexology and Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage started when I experienced first-hand the effects that past trauma, long-term stress, and injury can have on the body and mind. For me, this culminated in a chronic auto-immune condition that had a real impact on my life and my family. Like so many, I ignored the signs and symptoms until my body said: “enough, Sophie” – literally!
Having explored other avenues without success, I turned to finding natural ways to heal physically and emotionally. Reflexology was invaluable for me and has played in a key role in my recovery. I was so overwhelmed by the power of Reflexology that my journey led me to qualifying as a Reflexologist and becoming a member of the Association of Reflexologists.
I love what I do and get tremendous personal value from every client I treat. My training has enabled me to tailor my treatments to each client. So whether I’m helping someone overcome pain or an injury – sport or other, treating a client with a chronic auto-immune condition, or giving a deep stress-relieving treatment, every treatment is targeted.
My aim is to help build awareness of the amazing benefits of Reflexology and Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage as natural, holistic therapies that help people recover from a myriad of illnesses and promote great health and wellbeing.
My career, education and personal life experiences have shaped me as a therapist and the way that I work with my clients - achieving powerful results.
Our busy lives can make it challenging to maintain balance, calm and clarity. We often try to do everything, yet feel we regularly fall short. Many of us don't like asking for help when indeed asking for help, from those with expertise to support, can enable us to achieve more, with greater ease and calm. I have definitely learnt this life lesson.
Our bodies are designed to keep our anatomical systems maintained for optimum performance. However, life's everyday challenges, accidents, trauma, surgery, illness, stress, work, changes in sleep, diet, hormones, exercise and so on, can all impact our health and wellbeing. Keeping these systems working properly in the face of all of this often requires more care and attention than most of us can provide ourselves alone.
We need a space to help our body’s own ability to restore and maintain optimum health and I am here to create that space for you in my beautiful cabin overlooking the River Wye in Fownhope.
Reflexology and Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage are complementary health therapies that work in conjunction with medical treatments, not instead of. As your holistic therapist, I will look at you as a whole person rather than a symptom of an illness. If you are looking for a series of treatments, I will create a treatment plan where we will explore the symptoms that are troubling you in greater detail
The goal of my treatments is to bring about a stillness in which the body is in a deeply relaxed, self-healing state. This is achieved through my treatments by enabling you to begin the process of unwinding, releasing the physical or energy “blockages” in your body’s natural flow. In turn, this helps to relieve tension, restore energy, and your body’s own natural ability to heal itself.
Every treatment is wonderfully restorative, my ultimate focus being on how my clients feel after my treatments and longer-term.
