Ok, so I am no artist! But that doesn't matter because the beneficial effects of creating aren't dependent on our talents!

Plus there are some really great resources out there such as http://www.robbiddulph.com/draw-with-rob who talks you through, step by step how to draw some of his amazing illustrations.


Creating visual art - painting, doodling, sketching and so on, can reduce stress and promote relaxation and foster healing and mental well-being.

Art is also a great way to develop the whole brain - that's awesome! It's been proven to increase attention, strengthen focus, improve creativity and much more.


It also supports our emotional intelligence by supporting the expression of feelings that we sometimes may not be able to put into words.
